Kishore K. Dass, MD
Board Certified Radiation Oncologist
Diplomate, American Board of Radiology


Dr. DassDr. Dass is a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist at SFRO and has practiced in Palm Beach County since 1993. He completed a bachelor's degree at University of Illinois. He is a graduate of the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and is an alumnus of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio, where he was instrumental in the development of stereotactic radiosurgery. In addition, he augmented his studies with extensive work at the National Cancer Institute and Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Selected by his peers, Dr. Dass was named as one of the "Best Physicians in South Florida" by Miami Metro Magazine in 2000. He is a member of the American Cancer Society, the American College of Radiology, and the American Brachytherapy Society. Dr Dass has performed more than 3,000 radioactive seed implantations to treat prostate cancer since his arrival in 1993. Over 80% of those treated patients have had no evidence of cancer after treatment.

Ben H. Han, MD

Dr. HanDr. Han is a 1997 graduate of University of Washington School of Medicine and post graduate training at Baylor. He completed a bachelor's degree at University of Chicago. Dr. Han is board-certified in Radiation Oncology and has been practicing in the community since 2002.

Dr. Han has contributed original articles in New England Journal Medicine, International Journal of Cancer, International Journal of Radiation Oncology Biology and Physics among many others. He has presented data at major cancer conferences including American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology (2000, 2001), American Brachytherapy Society (2001, 2002), and American Radium Society (2001).

Claude A. Harmon, MD, PhD

Dr. HarmonDr. Harmon earned a PhD in Chemistry in 1973 from University of California in Berkley. He is a 1979 graduate of the Medical College of Georgia. After completing his residency at University of Miami School of Medicine in Internal Medicine, Dr. Harmon completed his fellowship at National Cancer Institute in Bethesda, Maryland in Radiation Therapy and Medical Oncology. Dr. Harmon has board certifications in Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine.

Dr. Harmon's career has spanned 30 years including an academic career as Assistant Professor of Radiology and Oncology at the University of Miami School of Medicine and as Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Harmon's professional career has been in private practice as Medical Director of Foshay Cancer Center at Jupiter Medical Center.

Alex S. Mirakian, MD

Dr. MirakianDr. Mirakian is a 1990 medical graduate and is trained in Radiation Oncology. He completed his residency at Peter MacCallum Cancer Center in Melbourne, the largest cancer center in the Southern Hemisphere.

Dr. Mirakian completed two Fellowships in the US, the first at MD Anderson Cancer Center in IMRT/3D CRT and the second in Brachytherapy at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York between 2000 and 2003. Most recently, Dr. Mirakian practiced in Tampa where he was a member of St. Joseph's Hospital Cancer Committee, the Hillsborough Medical Association and an Affiliate member of Moffitt Cancer Center.

Mark Perman, MD
Board Certified Radiation Oncologist

Dr. PermanDr. Perman has been practicing radiation oncology for over 20 years. He completed his residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. During his time in practice, he has had experience with emerging radiation technologies including IMRT, IGRT, HDR, RadidArc and CyberKnife. Dr. Perman's passion has been the CyberKnife, having treated more than 500 patients with the device over the past six years. As a CyberKnife pioneer, he has co-authored several textbook chapters and publications. He is also quite active in CyberKnife professional organizations, serving as the President of the Florida Robotic Radiosurgery Association and is the co-chairperson of the CyberKnife Society committee on governmental affairs and reimbursement.

Anthony E. Addesa, MD
Board Certified Radiation Oncologist

Dr. AddesaDr. Addesa is a graduate of the Drexel University School of Medicine. After completing a medical internship at Jackson Memorial Hospital, he completed his radiation oncology residency at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center/University of Miami School of Medicine. He was awarded an ASTRO Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston Massachusetts for stereotactic radiation training. Dr. Addesa has subspecialty interests in tumors of the central nervous system, lung, and prostate. He has been an invited speaker to courses in both the USA and Europe and has co-authored several articles in peer-review journals on various cancer-related topics, and book chapters on prostate cancer. He is fluent in Italian, Spanish and French.

Judy ArmstrongMs. Armstrong is a Board Certified Nurse who received her nursing training in Boston at the Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing graduating in 1984. She completed a bachelor's degree at Framingham State University in Massachusetts. She completed a master's degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner education at Florida Atlantic University.
